Its SO Hot in Perth - Update

Hi All

Well its been so hot in Perth for the past few days over 40 degrees for 3 in a row and arnt I glad we have ducted air and heat now......
We had to get up in the night and turn it on as its so hot no one can sleep or eat its horrid.
I like hot but not that hot. Even the pool water is like a warm bath..

For me I have been going to physio twice last week and it hurts like you know what but thats ok thats what he is there for am now going to attempt going to the office tomorrow and see how I go. I have been working from home for the past 2 weeks and thats going ok, my new assistant is doing a grand job and I dont know what I would have done without her thats for sure.

The kids had the opportunity to see the Beach Cricket at Scarborough yesterday. One of the XXXX - Angels the girls travelling with the cricketers is my niece from QLD. The kids were thrilled to get tickets and go and see the cricket and of course our own Mel whilst she was here.

Mel also got to come to our local pub so Sarah and one of her friends went there to see her too.
Just such a thrill to see her all grown up and doing what she is doing. Fabulous, she has been a showgirl dancer at Jupiters for the past 5 years. Also was doing a role in the Moulin Rouche in Paris. So she is our famous relation.

My DH finally came home early from Canberra to surprise me which was lovely. He was away all week. It was quite difficult showering and getting organised without him but Sarah Craig and I coped....... So thats it from me for now.
