Well we have the final verdict on my legs.........Its not such great news at all.
I wont go into the gorey details (and they were gorey) but surfice to say my legs are in bad shape thanks to the years and years of Netball Volleyball and Basketball. Up until 5 years ago still playing........
I will be undergoing the first surgery early January 2007 and the next some 18 months later for the other knee later. Dont do 2 at once that GOD.. !!!!!! I will be 8 weeks in a full leg brace, no work for 2-3 weeks then a driver to and fro, no stairs at all and plenty of physio and rehab......
Sounds like fun doesnt it. They will have to put pins into it as well.
All in all quite horrible but has to be done as I am becoming more and more incapable of walking to far which is bad for a 45 year old who feels like a 145 at present.
So there you have it, will be quite incapacitated for a while.
