OMG, well yesterday after having such a terrible Saturday night with my nephew being belted in a Mcdonalds car park......more soon on that.
I had this call from a girlfriend I went to school with in HIGH school whom, lives on property outside Brisvegas. Is coming to see us tomorrow with her family.
They have taken the kids out of school and travelling around OZ and are in WA she called me from JURIEN and will be in Perth tomorrow. I cant wait to see her, has been a long time.
When we were in Forces, she can to visit us in the Blue Mountains where we lived for a while.
I just cant believe it. I have 3 girls I keep in contact with from school 2 in Brisvegas and 1 in the States (USA)......OMG I just cant wait. So they will be here for dinner tomorrow night, and my baby boy (nearly 15) would cringe if he read that line.....is getting his braces off tomorrow and isnt he happy about that...So family photos this year and all smiles. Cant wait for that either.
Now back to the story of McDonalds. My nephew was in the carpark at McDonalds in Warwick minding his own business some d.........heads came up to his car, took offense to one of the stickers on his back window came up from behind and grabbed him through the window and beat the living crap out of him. He has a compressed cheek bone and busted eye socket and a very lucky boy not to have been beaten to smitherines.......Scarey stuff.
So our family get together on SUNDAY for fathers day was very subdued due to Iain being belted. Not nice when it comes this close to your family.
He will be ok but a lesson to all, windows up and doors locked.
Well I will also be lighting a candle for Princess Rani tomorrow RIP and will be thinking of Mel John and the family as well.
I hope the special memories live on.
On a slightly brigher note, my good friend Deb's daughter Tara had a baby boy overnight (I have known this girl since she was 5 - she is like my own daughter) 7lb Cohan is his name
Well done Tara.....xxxxxxxx
