Hi All
Well I have had my MRI read and its good and bad, for the results.
I have to in the mean time for 3 months see a sports physio for the knee and see if it will respond to some treatments and taping up that are not the norm..
The bad part is after the 3 months if no better I will have to have an op on it. So mixed emotions on that score. Some of my tests are again back and nothing as yet. They have found a genetics test that they have run and I have what they call iron hemocromotosis, which is basically IRON overload. Where some people have not got enough I have heaps too much. There are 2 genes that make this up. A high gene and a low gene I am lucky and have the low gene. They do blood letting where you donate blood and they take out the iron for others. So thats a good thing, except I hate needles.
The down side of all of the above is that long term it can cause some problems and hopefully they will just keep and eye on it. As far as my coughing goes I am supposed to go see an Ear Nose and throat specialist as they are now thinking it is attached to my sinus's and my tonsils.....
who knows.
Anyhow thats my sad and sorry tale for now so there you have it.
Bye for now
Cheers Parky

Oh Parky. I hope the Sports Physio can *fix* your knee so you dont have to have an op. I've had a reconstruction so I know exactly the pain involved with knee ops :(
I hope the rest of your tests come back soon with some answers to your health crisis.
Hugs

Lyn good luck with your physio on your knee...
Trust me you do get over your fear of needles when you are faced with them all the time.. Its amazing how healthy giving a little blood will make you feel!
Good luck with the ENT, hopefully he has positive news too...
Oh wow this seems such a reasonably simple solution but yuck needles! Poor you! Thinking of you and hope the knee responds well.
My dad just had his second op on his knees...I so hope the physio works for you Lynn, so much simpler than surgery. Having said that my dad is recovering really well but I have my fingers (and toes) crossed for!!
Big Hugs!
